ANNE E.'S JOURNAL - January 4, 2008

January 4, 2008

Hello and Happy New Year to you all.

I know it's been a bit since I've sent an email to you all but the holidays caught up with me and I was busy busy.

I hope you all enjoyed the holidays and were able to spend some time with family and friends.

Thanks to all of you for your warm response to the Christmas CD, "One Voice, One Guitar". Pete and I have both received really wonderful feedback on the disc. Every time I record I learn something new. If you missed out on the CD, you can still order it off the site.

Ok, I know I did not share "my favorite Christmas" story before the holiday but it's still a goodie and I'm going to tell it to you now. This is the story of one of the best days of my life. I think the reason it's so special is that it involves a gift that represented my hearts desire and it was a complete surprise. I am rarely surprised by people. I mean people do make me wonder but as you might imagine I've experienced many comments over the years and heard just about everything. Anyway it's hard to fool me when it comes to surprise parties, surprise gifts etc. But Christmas day 1973 took me completely by surprise! CLICK HERE TO READ STORY AND SEE PHOTO.

Hope you enjoyed the memories!

Hope to see you this weekend!
