ANNE E.'S JOURNAL -February 17, 2008
Febrauary 17, 2008 Hello Everyone,
Sorry to those of you who did not receive a mass email last week. We are having some real technical issues with our mass email program or server or whatever. We're working to resolve it. So this email, if it has reached you, is slow in coming as we can only send 100 at a time. I have close to 2000 on the mailing list so you can imagine. Sue, poor Sue.
Anyway, this week I'm in the studio. I am recording a demo of my new material. I have 10+ songs that I need on CD so that I can shop them. So were over at Dark Tree Studios in Cleveland working with Jay Bentoff. Dark Tree is where Pete and I recorded the Christmas Cd.
Things are going well. I was at the studio from 11a.m. until 4a.m. yesterday. You do lose track of time when youre doing what you love to do. Things are sounding really good. Matt recorded a great vocal on Carol Ann and I did a version of it that is a ballad. Hell No and Gettin Outta Dodge sound great too We have lots more to record so its going to be a busy weekend but Im very pleased so far. Who knows I may put a few up on my web site in a week or two so you can have a listen.
Were getting things set up for the big show at The Winchester on March 21st. Again, this will be my last show in Cleveland before moving to Nashville. You can pre-order your tickets at www.anneedechant.com There are two kinds of tickets. One is a group of 50 that are reserved seats. They are the tables in the section in front of the stage. The cost for those is $14.00 and your seats will be reserved with tickets at will call. The second group is general seating and the cost of those seats is $10.00. If you want a reserved seat, order now! Use this link:
