WWIII
written by Anne E. DeChant
The youngest one is the oldest now
She believes she deserves some restitution
Her children's families are settling down
In the middle of all this confusion
Well it's confusion to her now now
She remains on her five acre farm
While her flowers grow in the city
Developers they press on and on and ask
Can you have enough money
I don't know but there's something wrong
When you don't ask what you're doing
Where your progress has taken you
What is left for the children
And on and on and on we go
This is World War III and it's
us against mother nature
We are kicking ass out there
There she goes what do we care
And on and on and on we go
She'll rely on her memory to
Tell them all how it was
'Cause there's a house where
the trees used to be
And the rest they'll tear it down somehow
And on and on and on we go...
