Kelly Wright and Anne E. at Radio Free Nashville Now I'm relaxing a bit after a weekend of fun and intensity and gearing up for 3 shows this weekend including a performance of "Girls and Airplanes" program where I will discuss my songs that relate to outsiders, rebels and revolutionaries, at Adams Memorial Library in Woodbury TN on Saturday afternoon and LACKEYPALOOZA 9 on Saturday evening. Visit www.anneedechant.com/shows for details. I'll be at Union Station Hotel on Monday to perform for Insurance Board's Annual Agents Meeting. They are my corporate sponsor for "The Sun Coming In" and my performance at their event is the Indiegogo perk they chose. Then it's on to Chicago for CD Baby's first ever, DIY Musicians' Conference. Lastly, here's a story about my sister and nephew, Noah, that I got a kick out of: My sister was with my 2-(almost 3) year-old nephew, Noah and they were watching a television show. There was a woman on the show having a baby. My sister explained what was going on. Noah asked if it was hurting and Sarah replied, "Yes, but girls and mommies are so strong that they can do it."...She was feeling like she did an "awesome job" with that conversation. ...Flash forward to the next day. Noah said, "Mom, I want a baby." Sarah said, "Oh yes babies are wonderful but mommy's done having babies." Noah replied, "But you're so strong and brave mom, you can do it!" I hope you have a wonderful rest of week. Those of you who have asked for prayers, you're in mine!!!! Thank you again for being so great!!!! Anne E. P.S. Grapes are ready and we make jelly this week. All of you who chose "Hometown Jelly" perk, the wait is almost over!
