Good Afternoon,
Tuesday night and yesterday were tough for some of us and happy for others.
I spent most of yesterday wandering around trying to think about what to pull from this latest election. Then, late last night as I lay in bed, it occurred to me, that I should just focus on my own corner, take care of my family, my friends and my neighbors.
I still couldn't sleep so I began to read some online articles, something I had avoided all day.
I found the following beautiful article. Please take just 3 minutes to read this. You'll be glad you did....
Thank you Joan Garry. What if we all do this? What are you called to do? For me part of taking care in the way I can means MUSIC. It is how I hope to serve my corner, to share stories that connect us on a human level. It's what I'm interested in and what I'm called to do. The beauty and connective power of music is something on which we can all agree. That said, please join me and the band and special guest Diana Chittester tomorrow night at The Akron Civic Theatre and let's enjoy an evening of music together.
I'd love to see you and spend some time with you. The band and I have put together a wonderful new show. It's one not to be missed! BE THERE tomorrow night!! Get your tickets now.
